I've been in the Hillsborough county school district my entire time in grade school, and ive always felt it is a great district. There are many opportunities to get involved, especially through sports teams and clubs. There are also many opportunities to succeed in academics through the great teachers and many tutoring programs are available. One of my favorite parts of being in the Hillsborough school district is that all the schools have a lot of school spirt! Overall, It’s a great district to go to school and you are very likely to succeed in the Hillsborough school district through all the help and resources the district offers.

Steinbrenner High School, is generally a safe learning environment for students. The school have implemented safety measures such as security personnel, surveillance cameras, and active shooter drills to protect students. In terms of success, Hillsborough County public schools have produced impressive academic results. Steinbrenner High School, in particular, has a strong reputation for academic excellence and college preparation. They offer a variety of Advanced Placement courses, dual enrollment programs, and extracurricular activities to enrich students' educational experience and prepare them for success in College. One area where Hillsborough County public schools could improve is in diversity. The student population tends to be predominantly white, with limited representation from minority groups. This lack of diversity can impact students' social and cultural awareness, and the schools should strive to create a more inclusive and representative environment for all students.

I have been in apart of Hillsborough County Public Schools since elementary school. Overall, I have had many good experiences in this county and still keep in contact with teachers that have made an impact in my life. Although I would like to see some positive changes. I believe there is work for improvement from all teachers and especially in preparing students for college and adult life. There should be a more positive learning environment, instead of one that seems forced and not natural. Administration should also create resources and push teachers to make more of an impact long-term for students. Seeing a small percentage of honors students is discouraging, and more changes should be made.
